Karen Mayberry/ Music Director: Karen Mayberry is
a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University and has done
graduate work at Texas Women’s University. She has
also studied in Graz, Austria. Before pursuing public
school teaching thirteen years ago, she sang with the
Dallas Opera for ten years and taught private voice and
piano lessons. Ms. Mayberry has performed in
numerous musical productions including Oliver!, My Fair
Lady, Hello Dolly and she has performed the roles of
Fruma Sarah and Golde in Fiddler on the Roof.
Additionally, she was musical director for Frisco
Community Theater’s production of My Fair Lady. Ms.
Mayberry is currently the director of choirs for Little Elm
High School and Lakeside Junior High and serves as
organist for a church in Irving.
About Us
Kristy Vivian/Producer/Director: Ms. Vivian graduated
from Sam Houston State University with a degree in
Radio/Televsion and Film. She has directed The Music
Man, The Live Nativity for 8 years, Creative Spirits for
Christ (CS4C) along with various other concerts and fund
raising events. She has a performance background as a
Soprano with the Dallas Symphony Chorus and has
appeared in Jesus Christ Superstar, Hello Dolly, Camelot
and West Side Story as well as Sarah Siddons in The
Actor's Nightmare. Ms. Vivian is currently employed
with Global Outdoor Services, LLC.
Rachel DuPree/Technical Director and Stage
Manager : Rachel DuPree is a graduate of the University
of Texas at Austin. Prior to becoming a high school
director, she stage managed for many companies in
Austin and Dallas including four years as the Production
Stage Manager for Salvage Vanguard Theatre in Austin.
As a high school technical theatre director, Rachel has
produced many musicals and plays such as The Shadow
Box, MacBeth, Little Shop of Horrors, Wizard of Oz and
Big River. Rachel is currently the Technical Theatre
Director at Little Elm High School.
Little Elm Jr. High Choir Program: Lakeside Junior
High Choirs have one men’s choir, two women’s choirs,
and a show choir. This year LJH had six members earn a
spot in the Region 24 Honor Choir. Lakeside Junior High
Choirs participate in UIL concert and sightreading contests
and solo contests. Additional contests include Sandy Lake
and Hurricane Harbor. Last year, the Bel Canto choir was
awarded Best in Class at the Hurricane Harbor Festival.
Little Elm High School Choir Program: Little Elm High
School Choirs have a concert choir (Chorale), a Mixed
Ensemble, and a Show Choir. Last year six students made I’
s (superior) at the State solo contest in Austin, TX. We
have students that participate in the Longhorn Honor Choir
at the University of Texas in Austin. Our choirs also
compete in the UIL Concert and Sightreading contest and
solo/ensemble contests. This year a booster club has been

Christi Martin/Executive Producer is a 17 year
resident of The Colony. Her family includes husband,
Tim, and daughter, Danielle. Christi is a founder of
Lakeside Community Theatre, where she served as
president 7 years, and founder and current president of
Lakeside Arts Foundation, where she has served for 4
years. She was a founding member of the City of The
Colony Cultural Arts Board, served on boards of
directors for Frisco Area Children’s Theatre, The Frisco
Ballet, and the Barleysheaf Players, in West Chester,
Pennsylvania. She has been involved locally with Frisco
Community Theatre and Greater Lewisville Community
Theatre. Christi also enjoys coaching children in
storytelling and Oral Reading and teaching workshops.
She served as PTA Cultural Arts Chair for 7 years. She
was voted The Colony’s “Citizen of the Year” in 2005
for her service to the community. She has a B.A. in
Theatre and English from West Texas A&M, and ED
degree from Texas Woman’s University. In between
shows, Christi works as a writer and editor. Hobbies
include hiking, biking, and stained-glass art.
Amy Farrell/Choreographer: Amy Farrell is a graduate of
the University of Maine. Before moving to Little Elm in
September of 2007, Amy taught ballet, tap, jazz and lyrical
dance at the Judith Clark Academy of Dance in
Massachusetts. She served as choreographer for the
Wakefield High School Show Choir in Wakefield, MA, and
has choreographed for various musical productions. Amy has
also performed in several productions including Bye Bye
Birdie, Grease, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown,
Brigadoon, Once upon a Mattress and Annie.
Lakeside Summer Musicals (LSM) is a working arm of the Fine Arts
Department of the Little Elm Independent School District. The
main goal of the productions of the LSM are to educate students in
producing top quality Broadway musical theater working alongside
professionals in the industry willing to donate their time, talent and
experience to the entire program. Any proceeds from productions go
back into the Choir program of the Fine Arts Department.
